Your CD4 is quite high, all things considered, which is good thing. But I'm aware that doctors here in the UK would be unhappy if a patient's viral load was anything other than "Undetectable", which I'm told is the aim of the management of the infection. I've only just started visiting your blog and I think what you're doing here is very brave. Kudos to you..
i asked the doctors the very same thing about the viral load.
but they said that because i don't need medication as yet to suppress the virus its ok. Since my body is capable battling it on its own. If i had to be on medication, then the viral load should then be 'undetectable'.
however, i cant say for sure whats going on on the outside of Trinidad.
Your CD4 count is encouraging! You're number is about 1,000 above the number people normally start therapy at. Considering that it's gone up since your diagnosis, maybe it's a sign that your body can fight the good fight when the virus ups the ante?

It occured to me a few hours ago that sometimes you think that you know everything you need to know about this disease (you know, the basics like how it's transmitted etc.) until you get to the nitty gritty of things. Your blog is very...how do I say it...deep, very touching, scary and yet inspiring. Don't lose faith!!!
